Well Court, which sleeps 11, may be rented on its own; its adjoining Cottage may be rented in conjunction with the House, thus providing accommodation for 17 people in total with 2 cots.
This Grade II listed property of immense character dates back to the 16th Century. Originally four separate properties including a Chapel it has been adapted over the centuries to provide extensive accommodation on several levels. On foot from the street you enter what appears to be a terraced stone cottage; the surprise awaiting within is a grand country house of the highest standard with many oak floors, superb fitted kitchen and a magnificent drawing room which overlooks the extensive gardens. The house surrounds a courtyard on one side off which is a separate self-contained 3 bedroom cottage. A roll top door to the side of the property leads to a large parking area for up to 8 cars; this area also has a basketball hoop.
Shops and Pubs are close by.
This lovely old stone building and its cottage surround a pretty central courtyard with a raised fountain, climbers, shrubs and BBQ. To the rear of the house is a terrace with BBQ and very large, gently sloping, formal and informal grounds which provide a choice of eating and seating areas. Paths meander through lawns, gardens, orchards, fruit cage, wooded wild meadow, enclosed pond area and a children's lawn with football posts. There are also 2 children's swings; these are used at your own risk and children must be supervised in and around the fountain and pond areas.
