DONATE A £1 - Help preserve Dorset's magnificent coast and countryside.

Dorset Coastal Cottages has long been active in the preservation of and access to this beautiful county. For several years we have been a Supporter of Dorset Wildlife Trust, which is the largest voluntary nature conservation organisation in the county. DWT manages 40 nature reserves and aims to protect threatened wildlife habitats and species by engaging and inspiring people to care about wildlife and to get involved in protecting it for the future.

We also sponsor The Jurassic Coast Trust, which was founded in 2002 after the whole coastline from Exmouth to Poole was declared a World Heritage site by UNESCO. It is the only natural phenomenon in England to achieve this status. The Trust focusses on conservation and helping people understand and enjoy the coast’s fascinating geology. Its projects are as diverse as organising beach cleans to running informative guided walks - for 08/09 programme see www.jurassiccoasttrust.org.

We hope you will donate £1 (or more!) to these worthwhile organisations whose work you will be able to appreciate when you visit. Simply fill in the section on the Booking Form and add your donation to the deposit. We will keep your donation in a separate account and hand it over (plus interest!) together with our own contribution at the end of each year.
