By choosing to holiday in Britain you will avoid yet another stress inducing dose of airport rage but, more importantly, you will have taken a step towards a greener holiday.

Holiday in a Dorset Coastal Cottage which is doing its bit to counter climate change. No, we do not expect you to freeze but we have asked our owners to ensure that, for example, boilers are maintained correctly, radiators can be controlled, hot tanks are insulated and at the right temperature etc.

Some cottage owners have gone the extra green mile!
They returned a questionnaire rating boiler/heating system, energy efficiency, insulation and water usage. These results were assessed to ensure a satisfactory standard was achieved.

Participating owners also provide more extensive information at the cottage on recycling, local transport, farm shops/markets, walking, cycling etc.
