High rent in August?
Agents commission rate?
Level of occupancy?
 
Too often Agents ‘talk up’ very high rents in August which directs Owner’s attention away from the other 48 weeks in the year.  For example, low season rates last for nearly 4 months – they have to be set high enough to ensure Owners receive a sensible return from a Short Break yet low enough to entice customers out of season.
 
And the answer is that all rental levels, commission rates and occupancy levels matter greatly to Owners.  It is the combination of these that produce the net return for the year.
