Christmas is just around the corner!
There are so many beautiful places to visit along the Dorset Coast and winter is a wonderful time to come and see our amazing county; be it a stroll along a beach, walking along the high coastal paths or a gentle stroll through the wonderful countryside and woodlands, Dorset has a place for everyone.
Christmas lights are starting to be lit, pubs and restaurants are advertising their Christmas and New Years menus and parties.
There are numerous Christmas food festivals and fairs in Dorset all which have an eclectic mix of food and craft stalls with artisan food, drink and traditionally crafted items for the unique present for your loved ones. Not to mention the wonderful farm shops that are based here and provide us with enough food and drink to really enjoy the festive season.
Black Cow Vodka is made from pure whole milk from cows that enjoy the wonderfully rich green Dorset grass. Made from the whey (a by-product of cheese making), which is fermented into a “beer” using a special yeast. The beer is then distilled and blended to a secret recipe – go on give some a go over Christmas along with some Black Cow Deluxe Cheddar.
Conker Gin is made from British wheat, spring water from the New Forrest and distilled and blended right here in Dorset – Very refreshing Dorset Dry is marvelous on its own poured over ice or mixed with your favourite mixer – a wonderfully crafted drink.
