This immaculate reverse level cottage has been refurbished to a high standard and has an interesting and quirky layout. Situated in a convenient location close to the beach and town centre, this is the perfect getaway for couples.

Wonderfully located in the heart of the Jurassic Coast World Heritage, make yourselves at home in this inviting bolthole. Leave the car behind and stroll around the local town of Bridport (1 mile) or visit the beaches at West Bay (1.5 miles) before cosying up at your home from home for a relaxing night. Perfect for romantic escapes, this home sleeps two guests and has an enclosed garden where you can enjoy sunsets and sundowners.

Step up and make your way inside to get comfortable in the welcoming lounge where a wood burner effect electric fire promises to keep the chill at bay. Settle down with a book or put your favourite film on and unwind. Heading up to the first floor you can find the pretty kitchen/diner which overlooks the garden below. Rustle up delicious feasts for two and dine at the table, or head back downstairs and into the garden for an al fresco meal. Before heading to bed on the first floor, grab your clothes from the dryer, which can be found in an adjacent outbuilding, so you are ready for the day ahead. Snuggle under the covers and drift off for a peaceful sleep in the king-size bedroom which is light and airy. Rise feeling refreshed and enjoy a soak in the tub to start your day, or if you’re heading out early, rinse off in the shower over the bath. There is roadside parking on the private lane outside for one car.

Perfectly positioned for exploring iconic locations on the Jurassic Coast, wander 1.5 miles to West Bay for a beach day to remember. Fill your day with sea swims, sunbathing and fish and chips or walk 5 miles to the National Trust owned Golden Cap Estate and wander high above the ocean for magnificent views. Spend a morning strolling the streets of Bridport (1 mile) which are dotted with quirky shops and eateries so you can book a table and enjoy a date night away from the kitchen.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this cosy cottage with its delightful quirky layout. It was equipped with all we could possibly need and the welcome pack provided by our hosts was an unexpected bonus. The cottage was incredibly quiet and peaceful with the location being perfect for exploring both Bridport and West Bay without using the car!

Lovely clean and tidy accommodation, everything available to hand. Was made to feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Great location and would certainly recommend.

Fabulous gem of a cottage. Very well equipped and perfect home from home. Pretty garden to relax in after days out. Brilliant location for exploring the local area and was a bonus not to have to use the car as well positioned for walking and buses Would highly recommend and would definitely book again.

A lovely cottage in a great location. Approx. 20 min walk into Bridport and an approx. 20 min walk in other direction down cycle path to West Bay. We very much appreciated the Welcome tray and everything we could possibly need was provided for a perfect stay. We would certainly recommend and would love to return.

This place was a real find, so full of character. I could move in. The lovely selection of goodies left for us were a real treat. The location of the dairy was ideal, Bridport one way and West bay the other. Would love to come back and explore more of the area, thanks you for sharing this lovely retreat.

We enjoyed a very comfortable stay at this cottage. The location, standard of accommodation and cleanliness were perfect for our needs and helped us to enjoy a quiet, cosy break. We would not hesitate to return.

Cosy, clean, comfortable, well equipped cottage. Thoughtful welcoming gesture with delicious scones/cream tea, fresh milk and snacks, thank you. Great location for walking into Bridport or West Bay. Further afield, Lyme Regis, Charmouth, many places of interest to explore, by car.

We had a great week at the Dairy, it's in a great location to access both Bridport and West Bay so plenty of places to choose from to eat out. The cycle path near the cottage is very handy for walking down to West Bay where we started our coastal walks. We never used the car all week as there was plenty of walks from the door. A great cottage for us as a base to walk from. Bridport and West Bay were within 20 minutes lots of further walks along the coast or in land were accessible. The Dairy is a lovely cottage - very tastefully decorated and kitted out. The bed is really comfortable - we slept so well! Very secluded, pretty garden which is great to sit in and enjoy the sunshine. The cottage is situated in a great location for walking to the sea or the local town centre as well as driving to explore the stunning coastline.

No everything was fine . Position for touring out and about excellent, parking fine, distance to Bridport and West bay easy walking or drive if needed. Accommodation was as advertised , very clean and comfortable.

The cottage was well presented with home made scones, jam and cream very welcome on arrival and a bottle of Buck Fizz. The kitchen is well equipped with the addition use of a washing machine in an out building although we had no reason to use it. Many thanks to Bill and Wendy for a lovely week in The Dairy at Wanderwell. The weather was perfect for most days and we enjoyed the welcome pack that was provided and being able to sit in their lovely sun-trap garden. Ideally situated for exploring the delights of Dorset this stone cottage is located between Bridport and West Bay. Its unique layout with the lounge downstairs and everything else upstairs is a little unusual but does not detract from the comfort and tranquility offered. Access to a small enclosed garden is an added bonus when the sun shines.

Ideally situated for walking and sightseeing in West Dorset. Very comfortable and cosy, lovely back garden. Everything that we needed was supplied, easy parking. Quirky with kitchen upstairs but it was lovely to sit at the table and look over the garden while having meals. We really appreciated the welcome pack of bread, milk and cream tea.
