Take time out to relax in this converted former coach house, ideal for two. Take a dip in the hot tub after a long walk through the spectacular New Forest.
Escape all the hustle and bustle of the city for a romantic getaway in this former coach house in a stylish complex of properties in the Avon Valley. Featuring quaint design touches throughout, this pretty cottage sleeps two people in one bedroom and welcomes one canine companion. Spend your days strolling through the spectacular New Forest or trying out water sports at Gundimore Beach, and your evenings checking out Christchurch’s restaurant scene or sitting under the stars in the property’s private hot tub.
Step inside and you’ll discover a beautifully styled open-plan living room/kitchen diner. The kitchen area has everything you need to cook up a romantic meal for two, which you can then enjoy in the intimate dining space. Alternatively, head outside to the quaint terrace, fire up the BBQ and dine alfresco. This area is enclosed, so if you have your dog with you, they can run free while you dine. After dinner, pour yourself a glass of something cool and crisp and enjoy a well-earned dip in the hot tub. When night falls, curl up in front of the TV in the living area before heading to the wonderful mezzanine-style bedroom (restricted head height) to cuddle up for a great night’s sleep.
Head down to Christchurch Quay (5.5 miles) and rent a boat. This is the best way to explore the beautiful River Stour – and a wonderfully romantic way to spend an afternoon. If you don’t feel like being captain, jump on the ferry for a scenic ferry ride to Mudeford Sandbank - a long, narrow spit of white sand that juts out across Christchurch Harbour from Hengistbury Head. Mudeford’s blend of beach, heathland, wetland and woodland makes it a pleasure to explore.
