We had a wonderful relaxing Christmas holiday in your lovely house. It was really comfortable and warm with lots of space for us all. Set in the beautiful Dorset countryside, we enjoyed walking, running, cycling around the countryside as well as a Boxing Day dip in the sea at Bridport. Would heartily recommend.

The cottage was beautiful, clean, and very homely. It had everything you needed, from towels to even baking trays to cook a sunday lunch. We had a lovely time and made family memories that will stay with us for a life time.

What a brilliant house! Comfortable, clean, very well equipped and safe for small children, both inside and out. Yes, it's a bit of the beaten track, but, it's so very quiet at night! The pub is friendly and it's no problem to get anywhere from Powerstock whether it's beaches, towns, gardens or just amazing walks - a walk round the hill fort on EgeRead morerdon Hill is a must, drive up most of the way it's a short walk to the top, fantastic views, imagine yourselves as ironage warriors! We have just returned from a lovely week at The Old Schoolhouse. The house itself is an absolute stand out property, full of history and interesting features. It was very comfortable for both adults and children, with a large outdoor garden for the kids to play in. We cooked several times and the kitchen is well stocked. The local pub is just roundRead more the corner and was a great little spot for a post-walk beer. All the main tourist destinations are a short drive away. I would highly recommend! Hide

We really enjoyed our week staying in the Old School House. It is a very special building which has been beautifully converted into a residence. We appreciated it being well equipped for Christmas catering (plenty of crockery, cutlery and roasting tins). Beds and sofas etc are very comfortable and we were given a lovely Christmas welcome:decorated Read moretree, crackers and a generous goody box. Powerstock is an attractive village 20 mins drive from the coast, with good walks straight from the house. Hide
