Approached via a private lane, this is a peaceful retreat from which to explore this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with its wonderful walks, charming villages and spectacular coastline. After busy days, return to this charming Purbeck stone cottage for a cosy evening in front of the roaring wood burner, a picnic on the lawn or a game of tennis on the owner’s court.

Inside and out, this Purbeck stone property has everything you might expect from a quintessential English cottage. The lounge is cosy and inviting with a warming wood burner, delightful window seat and colourful oriental rug adorning the wooden floorboards below. Meanwhile, the kitchen is tastefully contemporary with shaker-style units and plenty of space for preparing delicious meals. A spacious and bright conservatory is a wonderful spot for enjoying a cup of coffee with a good book while overlooking the gardens beyond. With one downstairs and two upstairs, each of the three bedrooms has been elegantly decorated. Outside, a pretty patio gives way to a large lawn garden, from which a gate opens onto acres of fields full of cows, sheep and alpacas.

We had a lovely week long stay at this charming cottage. It is well equipped and has beautiful countryside views of the adjoining cow fields. It also has a lovely garden to unwind in (or play hide and seek!). Andrew very kindly treated the children to a ride in his tractor, which was one of the highlights of their week! This is a beautiful cottage, surrounded by beautiful countryside. It had everything we needed for our break - including comfy sofas, comfy beds and the beautiful conservatory where we spent a lot of our time. And of course it is located in a beautiful part of the world where you can choose to do lots or nothing! Cottage was a delight. Set a short distance from Corfe Castle with easy access to Lulworth, Weymouth,Studland and Swanage. Spotted some wonderful wildlife sitting in the garden, hares, fox, deer and Spotted Flycatchers. Cottage was clean and beautifully presented. Our family had a fab time.

We had a wonderful week here, the location was ideal for us to get around Purbeck. The cottage was very comfortable and we had everything we needed. Andrew and Beth are wonderfully friendly hosts. Would absolutely recommend staying here.

Very attractive old stone cottage set in a beautiful garden on a quiet and secluded farm. The large conservatory is a huge asset to the accommodation with west facing views over garden and fields beyond. Great for evening BBQs. We spent a wonderful cosy week in this stunning cottage in a beautiful location. Quiet and peaceful but only a short drive to Corfe Castle, Studland, Swanage or Wareham. We made use of the tennis court which is available most of the time and was very appreciated! Rain or shine the garden and views are beautiful and the large conservatory meant we hRead moread plenty of space for 4 adults + a toddler. A very comfortable cottage in a beautiful, peaceful setting, close to many places to explore, shop and eat. We would definitely come back again, we thoroughly enjoyed it there and felt that it was a retreat. The owner was very friendly and helpful whilst not being intrusive. Five stars all round.

Lovely stay again. We were on a repeat visit, for the location which is very peaceful and the lovely spacious conservatory! Owners very helpful with any issues - like providing some candles during a powercut! And I expect we'll be back again soon.

Thankyou Thankyou Thankyou for such a lovely stay. Set in such a beautiful part of Dorset! Corfe castle and the quint village being on your doorstep. It was so peaceful and felt like you were miles from anywhere but a short drive can get you to so many places e.g swanage, studland and Poole to mention a few!
