Take a party or even two families to this handsome stone cottage in Worth Matravers on Dorset’s Isle of Purbeck. Sleeping up to eight guests across four bedrooms, it has been beautifully renovated and carefully updated, and nestles in mature gardens. Soak up the sunshine at home or head 3.5 miles into Swanage to spend time on the sandy beach. Head off on walks along the Jurassic coastline and return to eat in the local pub, with its sea views.

Enter this chocolate-box, Grade II-listed cottage to find a wealth of original features. Relax in the beamed lounge together, basking in the glow of the wood burner as you watch TV. Head into the farmhouse-style kitchen/diner, with its oven, hob, microwave, fridge, and dishwasher, to prepare holiday feasts and dine at the long table. Find a separate WC, basin, freezer, second fridge, and washing machine in the utility room and a shower room with WC and hand basin. The master bedroom, with its king-size bed, is at this level too. It is our sixth or seventh year and is a real find for a family group holiday - the large kitchen table means we can share memorable meals and on rainy days do craft activities

This is a very comfortable and well equipped cottage in a great position. Loads to do within 10 miles or so. EV charging point a real asset. Would recommend. Only note of caution - the bedrooms upstairs are accessed by very steep staircase with low ceiling height. Beware!

This lovely cottage is in an idyllic location at the centre of a number of beautiful walks and yet is in easy reach of Swanage and Corfe Castle. The garden provided ample playing space for energetic youngsters and the house itself was very comfortable.

Best holiday home we've stayed in! Loved the annexe, allowing the grandparents to have their own space. Very comfortable and well equipped. Great outdoor space for the kids to run around in. Beautiful location.

Worth Matravers is a lovely village to visit with a pub, cafe and lovely coastal walks. This is brilliantly located and well-presented cottage between the pub and the duck pond. Had a very comfortable stay.
