This charming red brick cottage is set in the vibrant town centre of coastal Christchurch. Sleeping five guests and two canine companions, this home from home is made for family holidays with abundant amenities nearby. Bucket and spade days, riverbanks, and heritage attractions surround this idyllic setting, and you’re within half a mile of the town’s shops, pubs, and eateries so you can leave the car behind on rest days. There’s a choice of beaches within 2 miles, and the Dorset countryside offers additional choices for a fun family adventure.

Step inside the hallway of this semi-detached holiday cottage, decorated in contemporary style with calming pastel hues and cosy furnishings. Family meals are a breeze with the well-equipped kitchen, and there’s a dishwasher and washing machine so everyone can free up time for holiday fun. Settle in for games and film nights in the living area. When night falls, head upstairs and cosy up in your favourite bedroom. There’s also a contemporary-style family bathroom upstairs, and a separate WC downstairs. Step out from the dining area to find the sheltered walled garden outside with ample patio space and a BBQ area, perfect for al fresco dining under the stars, while off-road parking is available for one car.

Your holiday home is set between the town and the riverbank. Take a ferry or travel by car to local beaches and attractions, including beaches in Southbourne (2 miles), Mudeford (2.5 miles), and the traditional seaside resort of Bournemouth (5 miles). Hop on two wheels and cycle to Hengistbury Head where nature lovers can explore this fascinating headland of wildlife habitats. Or head to the New Forest National Park where you may find yourself bumping into donkeys and wild ponies who roam freely on local streets and country lanes.

Excellent location just 2 mins walk from the high street and lots of pleasant walks around the town and priory. Also lots to do within a short drive. Found everything we could possibly need at the property including plentiful wardrobe space and hangers. Really soft large towels.

Really great comfy cottage, easily accessible to everything in Christchurch but still quite peaceful. We had 2 dogs with us and being able to walk through a small woodland to the recreation field where we could give them off lead running was really helpful. Would highly recommend a stay here.
