A chance to unplug and recharge, this coastal haven is in the grounds of a Grade II-listed farm and is only 1 mile from the world-famous Lulworth Cove.

In a courtyard of Grade II listed farm buildings, in a quiet village location within West Lulworth, this tastefully renovated cottage is the perfect place for couples/small families to make the most of this beautiful county. Situated within the Dorset Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, guests can easily explore and discover the stunning coastline and beyond, from Weymouth to Poole. You also have Lulworth Cove with its unique, horseshoe-shaped bay within a mile. At the end of a busy day, you can snuggle up in front of the wood burner or enjoy a BBQ in the garden.

The white walls, cool tones and warm woods throughout the property create a contemporary, understated elegance that will enable guests to relax. The lounge/diner is bright and airy with views across Bindon Hill. To the rear of the ground floor, there is a spacious, well-equipped kitchen which leads out to the terraced courtyard with its BBQ and dining furniture. There is also a downstairs cloakroom/WC just inside the rear entrance porch. Upstairs, the immaculate presentation continues into the stylish king-size with vanity basin and twin bedrooms. There is a spacious walk-in wardrobe on the landing area. The good-sized bathroom is also contemporary and has a separate bath and shower.

With the South West Coast Path on your doorstep, there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy the Jurassic coastline, including the walk from Lulworth Cove to Durdle Door. For something more urban yet still on the coast, the popular seaside town of Weymouth is 15 miles away; its Victorian esplanade, seaside activities and range of attractions provide something for everyone. Also worth a visit is the National Trust’s historical Corfe Castle and village (11 miles), from here you can catch the train to the seaside town of Swanage. Lulworth itself also has a range of shops/eateries to choose from. For families, there is Monkey World and The Tank Museum almost on your doorstep.

A well equipped cottage in a lovely village with great pub close by and a further short walk to the shop. 15min walk to Lulworth Cove with again great pub and shops. Loads to do in the area lots of great beaches and historic places to visit. Very well set up for you to take your dog with you.

Lovely cottage and dog friendly garden. Enjoyed a really relaxing holiday. Village is very quaint and locals were really friendly.

This was our 3rd visit I'm so impressed with the cottage. A lovely safe garden for dogs. Kitchen well equipped, plenty of chairs in the garden too. Very tranquil and relaxing, close to the cove.

The cottage was comfortable, well-equipped and great for walks with our dog. Well-equipped kitchen which made it easy to prepare meals on evenings when we stayed in to eat (recommend The Castle Inn nearby but best to book a table). Note that the SPAR shop in the village is currently closed but it is only a short drive to other local shops eg Wool. Read moreLulworth Cove and Durdle Door both easily accessible. Hide

An excellent cottage in a superb location. Just 3 mins from the local pub The Castle Inn ( remember to book your table) and 10/15 min walk to Lulworth Cove. A delightful cottage in a super location. The Castle Inn is a short walk from the cottage , serving fabulous food Lulworth Cove , Durdle Door and Binden Hill all walking distance from the cottage Super comfy beds and a well equipped cottage in a quiet courtyard. Would be happy to return

A very comfortable, light and bright cottage equipped with everything needed for an enjoyable stay. The walk-in wardrobe is a real bonus! Had a lovely stay and cottage was comfortable and well equipped for us as well as our four legged family member. As first time visitors to the area it was a fabulous place to stay to explore the surroundings and the prosecco and chocolates on arrival were a lovely touch. Thank you very much.

Location is great, we like to walk without using car, and local bus service is excellent. If you want to walk both sides of coastal path check out the availability with the nearby military camp as one side of path closed in week open at weekends but closed for several a year, one of them being on our stay. Lovely comfortable cottage in a beautiful area. Had everything we needed. Very friendly pub serving good food at the end of the road. We loved walking at Lulworth Cove every day. Very dog friendly area so perfect for our Cavapoo. We all enjoyed curling up in front of the log burner in the evenings. Hope to visit again soon.
