Compact cottage with some steep steps and tricky surfaces for those a little less than youthful, warms up quickly and has a lovely deep bath. Basic facilities, two chip shops, spar and pubs within easy reach. If you have a dog that can jump 3ft the garden is not secure and while we were there the garden was visited by 4 different cats!

Everything was just as we had hoped. Warm, thankfully as it was March. Furniture was comfortable so was bed. The outside space was secure for the dog. Location perfect. Bus stop opposite the cottage and close to shop. Pub 200 yards up the road sold good food and was welcoming.

Went for a short break and had a fantastic stay. The cottage was lovely; very homely! The bed was exceptionally comfortable and the bath was heavenly! Due to daily excursions we ate out for the majority of meals but found the kitchen well equipped. The entrance to the driveway proved a little difficult to navigate, due to the steep slope and the faRead morect that our car was quite low to the ground, but we managed to find the best angle of approach after the second attempt! Would definitely book again. Hide

More information on the bus services and where the freezer and washing machine was situated in the outdoor shed. Could do with a good clean as lots of cobwebs but a really nice cottage for a relaxing stay

Generally good although the property felt damp when we arrived but improved with the heating on and windows opened to air the place. Well equipped kitchen although we didn't cook any meals. Would have preferred more TV channels. Stairs are steep and although OK for us, more elderly or disabled people might struggle. The road is noisy at times but cRead morean't do much about that. Good location for getting into Weymouth and neighbouring towns and villages and with 3 pubs serving food within 10 mins walk. Hide

The cottage would best be classified into the three-star category, but it could be fairly easily upgraded by, for example, providing a welcome pack on arrival.
