Hidden from the main road by trees, you can enjoy privacy whilst having easy access to local shops (100 yards) and pubs (500 yards). After a long-day sightseeing, the lounge will be a favourite spot for unwinding. Light the wood burner for extra comfort and turn on the TV for a documentary or show. With handsome period features, the lounge has a charming authenticity as well as inherent cosiness. Stepping into the generously-sized kitchen, you will find everything you could need and more for hearty breakfasts and refuelling dinners. Take your meals alfresco in the garden or sit around the lounge’s dining table. As well as comfortable living areas, the ground floor also houses the bathroom. Here, there is a bath with shower overhead and WC. Up the open tread stairs, the you will find the bedroom. Featuring reduced height in the eaves, low windows, period features and a double bed, the bedroom oozes charm. Outside the garden with steps has a sloping lawn and lends itself well to summer afternoons in the sunshine with the addition of an outhouse with washing machine and freezer.

Exploring the local area, you will be spoilt for things to do, especially in Weymouth itself. Generally good although the property felt damp when we arrived but improved with the heating on and windows opened to air the place. Well equipped kitchen although we didn't cook any meals. Would have preferred more TV channels. Stairs are steep and although OK for us, more elderly or disabled people might struggle. The road is noisy at times but cRead morean't do much about that. The cottage would best be classified into the three-star category, but it could be fairly easily upgraded by, for example, providing a welcome pack on arrival.
