This was our fourth/fifth stay in this property meeting up with our sons who live in London/Midlands. It is ideal for a family gathering & we intend to go there again. There is a good pub just along the road which our sons like. Unfortunately the weather was pretty awful, but there is a nice conservatory at the property which we enjoyed (with a glaRead moress of wine)! We can recommend Idle Hours! Hide

Excellent property for our large family. Bedrooms/bathrooms excellent. We very much like the open plan kitchen diner/lounge & conservatory with lots of windows letting in the light. We all said we'd like to find somewhere similar for a permanent home! The third or fourth time we have stayed at Idle Hours - twice this year - says it all!

The crockery really needs replacing as does the frying pans, even after washing them they were still too dirty to use. The mattress in the bigger bedroom with the metal frame needs replacing and the frame is so noisy is wakes you up every time you move. All pillows in every room need replacing Cobwebs The WiFi was VERY unreliable The toilet in the Read moreen suite of the bigger bedroom is very loose and wobbly. A very comfortable home-from-home which suited us very well with our four adult sons who joined us from different parts of the country - a room for everyone! Plenty of very good bathroom facilities! We stayed here about 3 or 4 years ago and everything was exactly as we remembered it, with the addition of blinds in the conservatory, which are a greaRead moret help to keep it cool in the sun.
