This traditional countryside cottage for two has ample space both inside and outside, and enjoys the best of both worlds with the popular attractions of the Jurassic Coast also within easy reach.

Located just outside of the village of West Milton, this former stone mill (cited in the Doomsday Book) is down a private track and boasts country walks in abundance. Don your boots and explore the locale or simply pull up a pew at your new home from home and enjoy this scenic haven with all its lovely comforts and thoughtful details.

Separated across two floors, the ground of the cottage features the living area. In a modern open-plan design, there’s no part of your day that isn’t catered for. Relax in the lounge area and switch on the Smart TV for the morning news, coffee in hand. We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend in this beautiful farm setting.. the owners were friendly and helpful .. Oscar, their Jack Russell and our little Poochon got on well. The surrounding landscapes were stunning and felt away from it all but it was only a 10/15 min drive to nearest town of Bridport. Lovely cozy little cottage in a quiet location. Suitable for walking and visits to the beaches. Great garden for the dog and plenty of hot water for a shower etc. Perfect holiday.

Mill cottage ,Dorset is in a lovely peaceful location, surrounded by pure countryside, on a farm , plenty of walks , local pub , 15 mins from from west bay in the car , the owners of the cottage Mr & Mrs Marsh are really friendly, would recommend this cottage for a nice break ,

Ideal for two people and pooch. Very warm welcome by the owner who was happy to answer any queries we had. Only improvement might be couple of sun loungers in the fantastic garden to relax and read.

Had a wonderful stay at Mill Cottage, the area is extremely pretty with great walks and pubs nearby. Very friendly owners and I will certainly return for another stay at the property.

This is the 25th year that we have been to the cottage ! Initially we took our children with us, they love it so much they goand stay now with their partners ! Location is perfect both exploring the Dorset countryside and the coast too ! The owners have now become firm friends! No doubt we will return!

To be expected I suppose for the time of year but the track leading to the cottage was very muddy. I have already booked another weekend for the end of September when I hope the weather will be much better.

This is an excellent cottage for two plus a dog if you have one. There are a lot of walks in the local area as well as plenty to do further afield. It was great to be staying in the middle of a working dairy farm. Dont trust a sat nav to get you here though. We arrived in the dark on the first night via country lanes that were technically quicker tRead morehan driving into Bridport and then out but not recommended on a wet night in January. Our first visit to Dorset, cottage centrally located for visits from Lyme Regis to Weymouth. Located in a valley on a working farm dairy in very beautiful surroundings. Small cottage , but well laid out and not cramped at all. Everything you might need is there , and Mrs Marsh was friendly and welcoming without being obtrusive. Cottage is on a working farm in a beautiful location in hilly surroundings down narrow country lanes. This little cottage is a gem. It's a beautiful location on a working farm. Everything you need is there. Really clean comfortable and very quiet. The cottage owners are right next-door and are very friendly. The young farmer was great can't recommend this place highly enough. The local pub also uses his beef and pork which we tried it was amazing.

We all enjoyed our week at the cottage especially our dog Percy who faced the challenge of Oscar the new puppy with delight. There were so many places to visit and we took up the challenge with enthusiasm but on reflection felt we should have spent more time exploring the area around the cottage as the walks starting from the front door were just aRead mores beautiful. Lovely cosy cottage. Had all that is needed for a break away when your out exploring most of the day anyway. Comfy bed in charming duel aspect bedroom. Washing machine was most useful as we had a few muddy walks despite it being June! Location remote so be prepared for small lanes. Best to approach via Bridport.

Had an amazing week in this beautiful location. Owners were wonderful and very welcoming yet unobtrusive. lovely setting the cottage is on a working farm and you can watch the cows twice a day going to be milked the cottage is very comfortable the owner left us tea and biscuits and some flowers

Had a lovely week in Dorset, really peaceful location and wouldn't know you was on a working farm. Very dog friendly with nice enclosed garden and Oscar the owners friendly Jack Russell who would welcome us and join us in the garden. Cottage had everything you needed and right size for a couple and dog. Good location for exploring West Dorset.

We had a lovely holiday in this idyllic location. There are so many beautiful places to visit within an easy drive of the cottage. Our favourite visit was to the Isle of Portland. Our hosts were very welcoming, and the cottage is very dog friendly, and the garden beautiful.

A lovely countryside cottage reached by charming, narrow roads. We enjoyed the remote location with lots of walks for the dog!
