Set on a tranquil no through road leading down to the sea, this bright, stylish and relaxing holiday bungalow makes a fantastic holiday home for a family seeking to enjoy the glorious Jurassic Coast of Dorset.

Just 100 yards from the beach, this light and airy detached bungalow is the perfect base for fun family holidays at West Bay. The property displays fresh modern decor complete with nautical touches, a wood burner for winter and pretty lawn garden for summer. With its iconic high cliffs, selection of eateries and shops, golf club and long beach stretching all the way to the Isle of Portland, West Bay offers something for everyone.

Pick up some freshly-caught seafood in town before returning to the spacious kitchen/diner to enjoy your meal. Afterwards, hunker down on the comfortable sofas in the lounge for a relaxing evening watching the Smart TV or listening to your favourite music on the hi-fi and iPod dock while the wood burner glows away nearby. While away lazy afternoons with a good book in the sunny conservatory or fling open the French doors and enjoy a picnic in the garden. Three comfortable bedrooms (a double and two twins) offer the perfect place to rest your head when the day comes to an end. There is parking for two cars on the steep drive.

Famous for its steep cliffs, picturesque harbour and shingle beach, West Bay offers plenty to see and do. The Golden Gateway to the Jurassic Coast, many breathtaking walks can be enjoyed from here, either along the South West Coast Path or the 18-mile-long Chesil Beach below. Children and adults alike will enjoy a spot of crabbing in the harbour or a visit to the amusement arcades before tucking into a hearty meal at one of the local pubs and cafes. For more shops, restaurants and cafes, visit the lively market town of Bridport, just 1.5 miles north of this property.

Morlais is a lovely cottage and very close to the seafront on a private quiet road. It served all our needs to accommodate us and our 4 boys (aged 11-17) and our dog (who had a wonderful holiday too!!) It is well equipped. A thoughtful welcome tray of tea, coffee and a very welcomed bottle of wine. We loved West Bay, and found some relaxation time Read morein this property. The owners communication was excellent. Hide

Lovely cottage it had everything we needed, fantastic location, great pubs locally, nice eating places all within walking distance,we managed to park 2 cars on the drive, this was our first visit to West bay and it won't be our last we were a family of 4 with a baby and dog and we all enjoyed it

Beautiful location and perfect walks/scenery. Very well equipped bungalow. Tiny rear garden and not as enclosed at the front to allow dogs (especially one that is dog reactive) off lead which was a shame. Overall lovely week and blessed with lovely weather.

The property is well appointed, has plenty of space and is in an amazing location. There is a dog friendly beach right at the end of the road and plenty of restaurants, shops, cafes all that are dog friendly.

Very impressed with the cleanliness everywhere when we first arrived. Standard of decoration was also very good. Living room furniture is comfortable, but tv was disappointing in size, picture and sound quality. Kitchen equipment comprehensive but lacked small items like cling film, trays and a few things that can be used everyday, but don't get brRead moreought with you on holiday. Shower has good pressure and spray, definitely above holiday cottage average, but cubicle very small. VGood 4 star property Hide

We had a lovely week at Morlais; the beds are very comfortable! There was a very nice welcome pack provided. The property is a very short walk to the sea front and onto the shops and restaurants. There are many places to eat in West Bay and those we tried were excellent.
