The Old Vicarage is a wonderful property being very spacious which accommodated our party of 8 easily (6 adults, one toddler and a 4-month old baby). The recent addition of the Orangery is a master stroke. The cottage is predominantly decorated in a very traditional style and in keeping with the property. It was very clean and there was an abundancRead moree of kitchen utensils and crockery. I would highly recommend The Old Vicarage, its a lively property and perfect as a base for exploring Dorset. the Old Vicarage was just what I wanted - lots of space to gather my grown up family. A short stroll to the coast for sea swims and a 5 minute walk for a great Sunday lunch at The Castle Inn makes this home so easy. We played croquet, enjoyed the open fire and enjoyed feeling as if we'd been invited to someone's quirky home for the weekend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The accommodation was very clean, well equipped and comfortable. Missed having a BBQ. 10 to 15 minute walk to the village down an unlit private road. We had a great time at the house. It is ideally situated for Lulworth Cove with lots of great (if challenging) walks nearby. Close enough to walk to the cove, but far enough away to avoid the worst of the crowds. Lovely garden - enjoyed playing croquet on the lawn!

Amazing property, a lot bigger than the photos suggest. We had a great week and couldnt fault it. The position is ideal, really quiet and just a short walk to the Castle Inn and store, just 0.75 miles to Lulworth Cove. We especially liked the garden which was dog proof.
