Great location for visiting Purbeck and the Jurassic coast. Highlights for the children aged 8 and 11 were Chesil Beach, Corfe Castle, Durdle Door, Dorset Museum, Etches Museum and Abbotsbury Gardens. Local shop has lovely pies and pasties.

Lovely house and garden in a pretty and peaceful setting. A sort walk to the local post office and village store and the nearby farm shop. The house itself is really well equipped with everything you could need. Within a short drive to a whole host of lovely beaches. Would recommend the Lulworth Lodge and the Sailor's Return for fabulous meals out!

Lots of space, tastefully furnished and very atmospheric. Very much felt I was going back in time, in a good way. Would have been great for dining, with big dining table and open plan kitchen, plus good equipment. Interestingly, my school-age daughters and foreign wife all liked the property as much as I did, as a Brit - and all of us, most probablRead morey, for slightly different reasons. Good central location for all we wanted to see in Dorset. Enjoyed staying in village untouched by tourism. Hide

We were five friends having a weekend away. The cottage was perfect for space and socialising. Bedrooms were quiet and comfortable, the lounge was big, and the kitchen was great for cooking. The garden was lovely and private. The nearby A road was loud when you were in the garden or walking in the village. It didn't bother those of our group comingRead more from a city but was distracting for others. Location was great for getting to local beaches by bus, car, or a 3.5 mile walk. Hide
