Or enjoy a morning hike to Pilsdon Pen or a drive to see the Giant of Cerne Abbas hillside figure. The charming town of Beaminster is also close by (4.5 miles), and you’re 12 miles from the sea.

Take three steps down to the front door of your holiday home and step inside to contemporary country-style interiors with sophisticated hues enhancing original features. The well-equipped kitchen, utility, dining, and living area are open-plan style, and you can snuggle up by the cosy wood burner and watch favourite films. Had an amazing time everything was spotlessly clean the location was so good with everything on the doorstep the facilities in the cottage were lovely with an added bonus of some history . We met the owners who were so lovely we will definitely be coming back and highly recommend thank you

We stayed in Daisy for the Easter weekend. It was just perfect. Everything we needed for a relaxing break in a beautiful setting with our own wildlife programme just outside, deer, birds of prey etc etc. Owners were very friendly and helpful pointing out some local beauty spots (which were stunning). A lovely, very comfortable cottage. Everything was spotlessly clean and there was a welcome pack of teabags, coffee and biscuits, as well as some lovely daffodils. The wood burner was a real bonus. Another visit to Buckham Mill is definitely on the cards.

Lovely accommodation really well thought out with meticulous attention to detail, maximising the use of space. Lovely outlook and very peaceful and quiet. A great location for exploring the beautiful and fascinating county of Dorset.

Both the area and the cottage are a perfect combination for a super, peaceful and relaxing holiday. The fact that we had beautiful weather was a bonus. The cottage is well equipped and finished, situated in a lush ,green valley only a short distance from two inns serving meals. We could not have wished for a more relaxed stay for our weeks holiday! As already stated the cottage "Daisy" in which we stayed was furnished to a very high standard, the hosts very nice and welcoming the surroundings gloriously peaceful.

We had a wonderful time and will be going back. The cottage has everything you need. The place was quite, relaxing and the owners could not do enough for you. Its the prefect place to de stress and get away from a hectic life. Our dog really enjoyed it as well. I cannot fault this place at all.

The cottage, Daisy, was perfect for 2 people, very clean and well equipped. It was a very good base for travelling out from to explore Dorset. The owners were very friendly and quick to sort out a problem we had in the cottage. I would highly recommend Buckham Mills.

Excellent quiet location, close to Devon and Somerset and approximately an hour from most places in Dorset as far away as Bournemouth. A few nice pubs and eateries in the area, with shopping easiest in nearby Bridport. Plenty of space around the property in the grounds to choose a spot to eat or just take in the sun or countryside. Shopping should be done prior to arrival as it is a long way to get any supplies. The accom was warm, comfortable and well equipped. Very relaxing and friendly and attentive hosts.

Just returned home with my wife from wonderful stay at Buckham Mills near Mosterton. What a lovely, peaceful place. We brought our puppy and the cottage was dog friendly with plenty of room to run around outside without interrupting other guests. Cottage was extremely comfortable and warm. Lovely little cottage in a tucked away, quiet location, but in easy reach of the local sights. There is a good pub, The Admiral Hood, a short drive away (could be walked, but it was too dark to do this in September).
