A wonderful abode for a family reunion or time away with friends, make yourselves at home just 2 miles from the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site. Sleeping 17 guests across 8 bedrooms, this opulent home has plenty to keep guests of all ages entertained. Swim, bubble or soak the night away in the indoor pool, the hot tub or the sauna before enjoying an al fresco aperitif and a peaceful night’s sleep. Bring three of your beloved dogs along and have a ball with all the family.

 

Exuding style and sophistication, this grand home has all you need for lazy days at home or to welcome you back from adventures in the great outdoors. First things first, pop the kettle on and brew a warming mug of tea to enjoy in the bright lounge, where sumptuous sofas invite you to relax in front of the Smart TV and wood burner. Watch your favourite programme or gather fellow guests and head to the cinema room for a film night filled with treats. After cooking up a storm or rustling up side dishes for a BBQ in the contemporary kitchen, plate up in style at the table or head outside for an al fresco banquet. Step up to the gorgeous, pergola-covered seating area to tuck in before bubbling the night away in the hot tub. A pair of dishwashers are a welcome sight and mean you can enjoy one more tipple before bed rather than washing up. Eight bedrooms reside over the ground, first and second floor (take care of restricted headspace and pillars in the attic room) and offer beautiful spaces in which to drift off and dream. A holiday in Dorset wouldn’t be complete without a day on the beach. Closest to home, Eype (2 miles) welcomes dogs all year round and sits beneath the Golden Cap, with a plethora of walks to break up your sandy day. For a night off from the kitchen, the local village of Symondsbury is home to a friendly pub, or pick up delicious goodies in Bridport (1.5 miles).

We booked this property so the whole family could be together to celebrate my mum's 80th Birthday. It had everything we needed to make mum's 80th birthday special. Lovely spacious, well equipped farmhouse, beautiful location, all facilities included were well maintained ( the pool could have been a bit warmer ) Highly recommended. Dorset Escape was perfect for our needs. Beautifully styled with a modern elegance that reflected the age & history of the property. All rooms had their own style and character. I would highly recommend this house. It's in a fabulous setting and is extremely well equipped and presented but it's shabby chic so you can relax. The bedrooms have lovely comfy beds and linen. The games room, pool complex, and cinema were a great success with all, but in particular, our grandchildren aged 15, 11, 8, and 5. There is a covered and Read moregated area next to the utility room, which is perfect for drying wet dogs before allowing them in the house. We will definitely book again. Hide

We celebrated a family 60th birthday and had a great time with our family group of 3 generations. The house is big enough to accommodate large groups with plenty of space and was lovely and warm. The Farmhouse and all its facilities were excellent and couldn't fault any of it. Lots of space and the cinema room and indoor swimming pool were a great bonus Highly recommend for families. We were sorry to leave! Sam the housekeeper was incredibly helpful too.

We had an amazing time here. The facilities were great. We were 4 families, all with little ones and we had a great time. There were plenty of local walks for the mornings and then pool & garden in the afternoon. It was a perfect getaway.

We spent a lovely Xmas holiday as an extended family in the cottage. The kids loved the pool and the cinema room, the dining room was fantastic for the 15 of us to eat together, and the dogs enjoyed walking around the estate.

A wonderfully equipped and located property, with a large enclosed garden which all 3 generations of our family enjoyed. The rooms were comfortable, plenty of bathrooms for a large group of people and excellent kitchen facilities, and a barbecue for alfresco meals. We had a couple of problems that were responded to very swiftly, I think that the reRead moreaction to a problem is a great indicator of the quality of the property, rather than the problem occurring.
