Spacious house decorated in a contemporary coastal style and set within easy reach of the vibrant centre of Swanage and its popular beach. Spend fun filled days touring this picturesque area

The perfect home for explorers, this brilliant bolthole sleeps four over three bedrooms and sits close to beautiful coastal spots and places to explore inland. Just a mile from the dramatic twists and turns of the South West Coast Path and Swanage Beach, enjoy sandy days and sea swims before heading back to unwind in style. Cosy up inside or continue your evening with a sundowner feast on the decking and enjoy your elevated position with views over the Dorset Hills.

Descend the sloped driveway, with parking for two cars, unload your bags and step inside to unpack and make yourselves at home. Head straight through to the open-plan lounge/diner, which is filled with natural light and cool, tranquil tones. Cosy up on the curved, corner sofa and light the wood burner effect electric fire for a relaxing welcome home from adventures, or pile the dining table high with treats, open the balcony doors and let the fresh air flood inside. Ample space in the kitchen means you can designate a couple of chefs to rustle up a storm to be eaten either inside or out. When it’s time to say goodnight, climb stairs to the first floor where a double bedroom and two single bedrooms await weary heads. With lovely views over the Purbeck Hills, rise and shine and admire your surroundings before freshening up in the family bathroom.

With so many places to explore, plan your time wisely and make the most of your fabulous location. Spend a beach day at Swanage (1 mile) with its golden sands, crystal seas and delicious eateries. From here you can follow the 9-mile Purbeck Ridge Trail past Old Harry Rocks towards Corfe Castle, where magical remains are cared for by the National Trust. Take a dip in the tidal pool at Dancing Ledge (1.5 miles), where a refreshing dip is a great to start or end your day (dependant on the tides). Nice location with great view from window ,As we are getting on a bit we found the hilly bits quite hard but all of our journeys were by car so wasn't a problem . The house was very comfortable and every thing you need was there and in good working order. Fresh and clean.

The House was spotless, and comfortable. Location for taking walks along the South Coast path was excellent, and there are pubs, and a conveinence store within 10 mins walk. Only downer was that the driveway is very steep.

This is a very comfortable home well equipped. Would have preferred if it had a fridge/freezer rather just a fridge with an ice box. Drive very steep but parking is available on the road

The cottage is in an ideal location. We were able to walk to and from Swanage town centre and there are car parks nearby too if less inclined to walk. Close by to the beach, Durlston Country Park, the steam railway, Corfe castle, Dordle Door and many more natural beauty spots in Dorset. A fish and chips shop and costcutters within easy walking distRead moreance too. The house was clean and had a good layout. A large open plan dining room/ lounge area. Good size kitchen. Good choice. Great little cottage and value for money. Cottage has everything you could possibly need. A good 30 minute walk to the beach with little legs but I did it in 20 alone. Garden gets good sunshine all day which we loved. The driveway was a bit of an issue for us, think we've burnt our clutch out!

Nice house containing everything we needed. The description on the website was very accurate even down to the steep slope on the drive which meant that we had to part on the road. Would definitely recommend.

May 2002 A beautifully appointed and spacious holiday home with a lovely outside area (if, unlike us, the weather behaves itself). Excellently equipped - shower extremely good. Slightly lengthy walk into the town - better going down than back up! Recommended.
