Once unpacked, head to the open-plan living space which flows from the lounge area, to the dining space and into the kitchen. Pluck a book from the shelf or switch on the TV and put your feet up on the comfortable sofa for some downtime. When it’s time to get fed, cook up a storm in the cool kitchen with all you need to prepare feasts. A 15-mile trip along the coast will take you to the horseshoe-shaped cove at Lulworth, from where you can walk 1.5 miles to admire the spectacular arch at Durdle Door. Steeped in history, visit the Victorian Nothe Fort (5 miles) and the ancient ruins of the cliffside castle, Sandsfoot (5 miles).
