It’s part of a complex of properties set in 30 acres of grounds so it’s made for guests who enjoy daily jaunts from the doorstep. Take a dip in the shared outdoor heated swimming pool between May and September (weather dependant, children need to be supervised) - please refer to the 'need to know' for more details. There’s also a shared parking area; a shop, pub, and eatery just a mile away; and a choice of beaches close by (1.5 miles).

Kick back after a family walk on the South West Coast Path, and unwind on squishy leather sofas by the warmth of a wood burner. If you fancy a fossil expedition, head to Charmouth Beach (1.5 miles), and look out for dinosaurs! Or take relaxed holiday snaps by a row of colourful beach huts. Families can also explore the Victorian seaside resort of Lyme Regis (2 miles), with its magnificent sandy beach and pier, along with pretty shops and cobbled lanes to potter towards artisan studios at The Town Mill, and Dinosaurland Fossil Museum with its inspiring collections of ammonites and ichthyosaurs. Or discover the market town of Bridport (7.5 miles), which holds an annual literary festival.
