Offering fresh and relaxing accommodation for up to eight guests, this striking 19th-century property is just a few miles from the glorious Jurassic Coast and makes a great base for discovering this idyllic region’s serene countryside, quaint villages and spellbinding beaches. Set in a charming spot in the picturesque village of Winfrith Newburgh, this delightful holiday home features a beautiful conservatory, a cosy snug, a games room and a large garden with an outdoor kitchen and children’s play area.

The cottage has several sociable areas for you to unwind in including a light-filled conservatory with a grapevine waving across the ceiling, a cosy snug that makes a charming reading area and a tastefully decorated lounge with an exposed ceiling beam, Smart TV and wood burner. The ground floor also has a sleek, spacious and fully equipped open-plan kitchen/diner as well as a games room with table football and air hockey and a handy playroom for younger children. Upstairs, the property offers a stylish family bathroom and four refreshing bedrooms: one king-size, a pretty twin, a cheerful bunk bedroom and a lovely en-suite king-size room with a Juliet balcony. Heading outside, the garden features a patio with plenty of furniture and an outdoor kitchen with a BBQ and wood-fired pizza oven. Our stay was exceptional - the house is simply stunning and had everything we needed (and more). The games room and contents were great fun and we used them a lot. Great house, loads of room for the family, & all generations. Great facilities, wonderful large garden which children adored. Everything had been thought of, all amenities, all the equipment needed & more. This is a very special property. Everything has been provided with such care and thought. The games room and playroom were pounced on by our grandchildren, and the tree house and trampoline as well. We really enjoyed our stay at Brook House. The trampoline, swing and tree house were a huge hit with our children and the characterful cottage was lovely to relax in. To arrive to a food hamper was lovely and we enjoyed the extra perks of things like a coffee machine. We would definitely stay here again.

Despite a very wet and windy week Brook House was a welcome home from home, comfortably furnished and with all the facilities we could wish for. Our two year old granddaughter loved the playroom, the tree house and the sunken trampoline in the beautifully landscaped garden.

We had an amazing stay at Brook House. Fabulous house, genuinely everything you could need/want. Coming in from the torrential rain to the toasty kitchen was so welcoming. Fabulous, comfortable & well equipped house ideal for our 3 generation holiday. Great playrooms were well used by all. Garden was beautiful & trampoline a great hit. A warm and welcoming home from home. Lovely decor, comfortable beds and superb outdoor space. We made pizza dough and cooked THE BEST wood fired pizzas in the outdoor pizza oven. Fantastic village shop with helpful staff. Great playroom for the children and also for the adults! The location is one of the best things about this cottage.
