Featuring a modern décor throughout, this single-storey cottage is instantly inviting from the moment you arrive. Enter via a private door and drop off muddy outerwear on the porch before making yourselves at home. Whether your stay coincides with rain or shine, the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner presents you with the opportunity to get cosy. Throw open the bi-fold doors to enjoy instant access to the private patio when the sun shines or hunker down on the sofa with the Smart TV on in colder months. Just next door sits the king-size bedroom with fully fitted en-suite bathroom, a much-needed spot for dreaming of days gone by and getting ready for each day.

A true nature lovers paradise, this cottage offers direct access to the fantastic birdlife at the Arne RSPB nature reserve (3 miles) and the Studland and Godlingston Heath Nature Reserve (7.5 miles) where stunning flora and fauna are rife. Head to Shell Bay (9.5 miles) to take a trip to the National Trust spot of Brownsea Island (11 miles), an incredible place with guided walks and an abundance of wildlife to appreciate. You might also prefer to spend a relaxing afternoon on the beach when the sun shines, flocking to Knoll Beach (8.5 miles) where white sands give way to waters for swimming, windsurfing or even snorkelling.

  • 1 dog allowed. Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week

A very comfortable and well-equipped cottage ideal for exploring the Isle of Purbeck. Lots of walks on the doorstep to explore the local nature reserves and beautiful countryside. Great place to stay. Comfy well eqipped accommodation. Close to lovely walks and also riverside walk to Wareham less than half an hour. Highly recommended holiday home.

We had a lovely few days staying in The Studio Barn - the accommodation was excellent and we had everything we needed - and more! It is ideally situated to explore the lovely surrounding countryside and has lots of walks "on the doorstep" - ideal for our labrador, Lily, and us. Perfect. Thank you.

A beautiful holiday cottage tucked away in a peaceful location. We love this area of Dorset and thoroughly enjoyed our week. The walk into Wareham along the river was particularly beautiful as was the sea front at Swanage during the storm!

Excellent accommodation and to a high standard. This was our second year at the Studio Barn and would certainly go again. Ideally situated to explore the area and with Wareham railway station being half an hour walk away means you can leave the car and travel to Swanage, Weymouth and Poole, even to London if you so wish. Lovely studio barn very clean, comfortable and well equipped. Bed was good quality and comfortable. Owners are friendly and could not do more. Close to local amenities and restaurants. A number of walks are on offer with a lovely 20 minute walk along the river into wareham. Would recommend and will be coming back.

The Studio Barn is very comfortable and quiet. It's ideally situated to explore the area with its beautiful coast line and country side. If you are considering a holiday here I would recommend being a member of the National Trust as there are many places and car parks in the area run by them. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend The Studio Barn.

The property was everything we expected and more. Very well equipped, if we had felt inclined we could have cooked a proper meal here every night. The bed was extremely comfortable with good quality bedding. Bathroom was very spacious and wheelchair friendly. The outdoor area was more spacious than expected and very pretty and peaceful. Lovely holiday in the studio barn. We had our dog Barney with us and the opportunities for walking were endless with lots being close by. Walking into Wareham along the canal towpath was also very handy and scenic.

This immaculate property is perfect for couples seeking peace and quiet and an ideal base for exploring the area by car or on foot, or those interested in ornithology and wildlife. It has everything you could wish for to make a stay comfortable. It is not advertised as such but the property was built with access for the less able, even a wheelchairRead more user, both inside and out. A very well appointed two person studio with a fine patio to rear in a quiet rural setting. The location is excellent for east Dorset. RSPB Arne is a ten minute drive ,Corfe Castle 15 mins and Studland bay about 25 mins. A riverside path gets you to Wareham after a delightful 20 min walk. No problems here, ounce we found the cottage. We find it very quiet, central to many sigh seeing locations and town centre for resturants and food shopping when we wanted a night in.

We had a lovely stay here . The property is in a lovely peaceful location with many attractions, site seeing & glorious views within a 10-30 minute drive away. A really great location for seeing Dorset. Great walks and scenery near by. The studio was lovely and modern and was just right for the 2 of us and out cockerpoo. Had some fantastic honey from the owners beehive. Also great tips and ideas from the owners. Really enjoyed our stay.
