The cottage was spotlessly clean, smart, comfortable and well equipped. Particularly great were the welcome refreshments, very comfy bed, and powerful hot water supply for the bath & shower. Not shown in the pictures is a recently installed fence and gate to the front perimeter of the property which is a real help for dog-related logistics! The locRead moreation, within a short walking distance of Beaminster, 10 minutes' drive to Bridport and 15 to the coast, is good, but do take care on the main road. Hide

This is a charming cottage in the beautiful small town of Beaminster. It was clean, comfortable and well equipped. The delicious scones and fudge waiting for us on arrival was a lovely treat. We enjoyed several walks straight from the cottage and there are a good choice of pubs and restaurants within walking distance. Highly recommend.

Fantastic stay in the old police House. The bed was queen size and I'm sure I read King size in the information/description but it was lovely and big. Overall the cottage was clean, tidy and had everything we need there. Even the towels in the bathroom were a Bath Sheet, so nice to have a decent size towel. A fab stay with great weather too.
