Ropemakers cottage was delightful, from the cosy sofa with a log fire, to the exceptionally comfortable bed so much thought from the owner to ensure all who stayed would be catered for with lots of extras, a real treat. The location was perfect as just a stroll to the centre of town, lots of coffee shops and friendly pubs and a short walk into WesRead moret bay . The weather was not always kind but we were so cosy it really didn't matter; we would certainly recommend this cottage it was fab Hide

Perfect location, just round the corner from the high street. The cottage was lovely and very secluded given the very central location. Well appointed for cooking - lovely pans, oils, generous selection of teas and treats as a welcome. We had a great time. Worth noting if you have a dog, that there is one neighbouring house that has access thru theRead more garden - drove ours nuts. Green Yard cafe on the street was great for breakfast and the owners gave our dog bacon (and delicious bacon at that). Hide

Had a lovely week at this quaint and quirky little cottage that was ideally placed close to the centre of town but felt like you were out in the country. Only minor issue was the lack of a parking space which led to a 10 minute walk to get the car each day. At least you can get your steps in!
