The local pub is just 1.5 miles away from Corscombe for the days when you’d like to stay closer to home. Further afield, Sutton Bingham Reservoir (4 miles) is a fantastic spot for a leisurely stroll, a picnic or to give sailing a go. Head to the eclectic town of Bridport (12 miles) to find a selection of vintage shops and markets, as well as independent eateries and a thriving art scene. For a day at the coast, head to West Bay (11.5 miles) for a long stretch of sandy beach which is great for families, or Charmouth Beach (18 miles) to try your hand at fossil hunting.
