The period property is light and airy, with an open-plan layout. Each room is decorated in tones to complement the surrounding coastal landscape, and you’ll spot little nautical touches throughout the property. Enter into the lounge/diner, where a warm welcome awaits thanks to the roaring wood burner. Share family mealtimes around the table, before relaxing on the sofas to watch TV. A stained-glass door leads to the bespoke kitchen, which features handmade cabinets and all the equipment needed to whip up delicious feasts. Cottage-style stairs lead to the first floor and a pretty double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom. A further flight of stairs takes you to the remaining bedrooms and a stylish shower room. The enclosed, courtyard garden is a real suntrap, and is a delightful place for a morning coffee or family BBQ. There’s also a handy outside WC and a storage area for outdoor gear.
Lyme Regis is a hub for water sports, and from the beach you can hire paddleboards or kayaks to explore the Jurassic Coast from the sea. Boat tours also depart from the town throughout the summer months. The South West Coast Path passes through Lyme Regis, and the clifftop path leading towards Poole provides truly breathtaking views across the bay. The beaches in the area are excellent for fossil hunting, and you can join guided tours to increase your chances of securing a special souvenir from your holiday.
