Experience coastal living with your nearest and dearest, including two canine companions, during your stay in Poole, which is home to Europe’s largest natural harbour and numerous sandy beaches. Settle into this stylish and contemporary property with coastal colours throughout as a nod to its surroundings.

Walk through the hallway to reach the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, which is decorated with greys and blues. To one side of the room is a cosy seating area with a corner sofa big enough to fit all four guests while you relax in front of the Smart TV or make plans for tomorrow. Move into the kitchen to find marble-effect surface tops, contemporary lighting and plenty of space for some teamwork while making dinner. When it’s time to eat, gather at the elegant round wooden table with seating for four. Also on the ground floor is the twin bedroom and a shower room. Climb the stairs to reach a spacious master bedroom with a king-size bed and a TV. Outside, you’ll find a bench in the small garden with grass and potted plants.

Wake up and start your day with a stroll along the waterfront and a dip in the sea at Hamworthy Beach (0.5 miles) during your stay between the marina and Hamworthy Park. You’ll also have a fish and chip shop, a handful of restaurants and shops all within 0.5 miles. Stroll around Upton Lake or hire a boat from Cobb’s Quay Marina (1 mile). Cross the Poole Town Lifting bridge to reach the centre of Poole (1.5 miles), where you’ll find an abundance of eateries, cafes, shops and attractions. Catch a ferry from Sandbanks (5.5 miles) to Shell Bay Beach to explore the nature reserves and beaches of the Dorset Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

We had a really lovely stay. Location was great, fully equipped and the beds were so comfortable. Visited Durdle Door and Lulworth which is about 25 mins drive, also went into bournemouth, sandbanks and poole. Highly recommend!

Beachcombers is a perfect location for Poole quay and Hamworthy park and beach. Its accommodation is surprising inside. The owners have made amazing use of the space and provide a lovely, cosy and clean place to stay with everything you need. Our dog was made very welcome with treats and blankets.

We were comfortable and within easy reach of friends we were in Poole to visit. For anyone who does not know the area there are wonderful places to visit. As a base it is ideal to explore Dorset.

Ideal location for exploring the many attractions of Dorset in the quiet residential area, very close to Poole, beaches and parks. Well equipped and comfortable cottage.

Beautifully presented property with open plan living space. Right next to pub and short walk from park/beach and walkable distance to town. It's a nice cosy little cottage perfect for what we needed to base ourselves out of. One slight downside is the on road parking being a little inconvenient. This was an Ideal property for visiting many attractions in the area. The Ferry service to Brownsea Island from Poole Quays is efficient and the Island is worth visiting. Compton Acres is close and the Poole Arms is good for fish meals. It is close to several parks and the beach is within walking distance. The place was perfect for everything we needed. All new, very comfortable and clean. Great location to explore everything locally. We had a fantastic time and we highly recommend others to stay here. The owners were lovely people, very friendly and helpful.
