Enjoy a wonderful family holiday at this stylish lodge in Swanage with lovely views of the town, cliffs, and bay. It’s close to lots of activities to keep the kids busy, with local amenities, and activities, and attractions on site and in the town. It is also close to the coast and beaches. The large, decked area reaches around two sides of the lodge and there’s also a small, enclosed garden.
The lodge has attractive interiors with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Go up the steps to the deck and into the light and airy open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, perfect for spending time together, and watch your favourite shows on the Smart TV (with Disney+) in front of the electric fire. There’s space for everyone at the dining table next to the French doors and the kitchen has plenty of space for storage and cooking, plus a wine fridge for your evening tipple. Going back through, there’s a large cupboard with a washer/dryer and three lovely bedrooms: a king-size, with wooden furniture, French doors to the patio, a TV, dressing area and en-suite shower room, and two pretty twin bedrooms. The main family bathroom offers a shower over the bath. On warm days, relax on the patio in the enclosed rear garden and enjoy the views from the wrapround decked area at the front.
There is heaps to do nearby with a pub and shop 800 metres away, an on-site cafe/bar, and on-site leisure activities, including a gym, and a heated indoor swimming pool both of which there is a fee to use. Wander to Swanage beach (1 mile) to sunbathe, build sandcastles and enjoy various water sports. Walk along the promenade behind the beach to explore the shops and attractions or keep going along the South West Coast Path. You might also like to hop on the steam train to Corfe Castle (5.5 miles).
