Experience the true character of Dorset when you stay at this exquisite cottage in Weymouth. A charming base with room for four guests, the delightful retreat is situated in an enviable position overlooking the harbour and with sea views. Inside, it is beautifully finished and features a wood burner for winter breaks. The south-facing courtyard garden is ideal for afternoon tea and a slice of Dorset apple cake in the summer months.
Step inside the colourful cottage, which has a gorgeous bow window to the front. Find yourselves in the welcoming lounge to fire up the wood burner, which is set into an exposed brick chimney breast, and take a book from the shelf or watch the Smart TV. Head through to the charming dining room, with its own stylish feature fireplace, and play board games or prepare for lunch. The adjoining kitchen has everything you require to help you whip up delicious dishes with your own ingredients. Open the back door in here on summer days while you cook. Take two steps up to enter the utility room and the downstairs WC. The lovely bedrooms are both on the first floor. A double bedroom to the front encompasses the beautiful bow window, which creates a lovely seating area. The twin bedroom, to the rear, looks out over the garden. A family bathroom completes the interior of this retreat. Outside, a few steps lead up to the beautiful courtyard where you can dine at the outside table.
Weymouth is bursting with wonderful attractions for you to enjoy during your stay. Stroll 150 metres down to the harbour to watch the boats come in - you can also book sea cruises from here.
