This charming stone-and-brick cottage located 100 metres from Swanage’s high street is a wonderful spot for a coastal getaway with friends and loved ones. You’ll have a beautiful sandy beach 350 metres away and plenty of popular tourist attractions nearby, such as the lovely Victorian pier (500 metres). With three bedrooms, this charming residence is ideal for three couples or a family group keen for a seaside break.

Inside the property, a homely atmosphere and a welcoming decor of neutral shades await. The open-plan living area has comfortable sofas, a wood burner to keep you warm on autumn and winter evenings and a TV and DVD player for film viewings. In the well-equipped kitchen, you’ll have everything you need for meal prep. The dining area is conveniently situated near an archway between the kitchen and the lounge. In mild weather, make the most of the charming stone courtyard garden located at the front. Here, you can dine alfresco in good weather, making the most of your tranquil surroundings and the fresh Dorset air.

Swanage Beach is wonderful for swimming, picnicking and water sports like kayaking and surfing. If you’d like to explore on foot, join the South West Coast Path 350 metres away and walk to the headland at Peveril Point (0.5 miles), then continue round towards the Great Globe Sculpture (1 mile) and beyond. The 5-mile walk north to Studland is highly recommended. For inland adventures, check out the local golf course (1 mile), or board a steam train for a scenic ride to Corfe Castle (5.5 miles).
