This characterful cottage for families and couples is set in a pretty side street, close to the heart of Swanage. A short stroll brings you to the bustling high street, with its excellent array of independent shops and eateries, with the sandy beach just 300 metres away. Here, you can enjoy a traditional day by the sea, before returning home for a cosy evening in the sociable, open-plan living space that awaits.
The holiday home is bright and airy, with large sash windows bathing the accommodation in natural light. The hub of the home is an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, decorated in neutral tones with a beautiful wooden floor. Cook up a storm in the sleek kitchen, and enjoy mealtimes together at the breakfast bar or around the formal dining table. After dinner, unwind in the cosy lounge area to watch TV. When the night draws in, retire to the two sumptuous bedrooms - a chic king-size room and a flexible twin room. Serving the bedrooms and completing the inside is a well-appointed family bathroom. Outside, external steps lead to a courtyard garden with outdoor seating. This area is a real suntrap, and the perfect spot for al fresco dining on a summer’s day.
Swanage is full of seaside charm, with a Victorian pier, promenade, sandy beach, colourful beach huts, and a heritage steam train all within half a mile. Just 4 miles from Swanage is Studland Bay, where you’ll find four stunning, sandy beaches, along with nature trails through the surrounding dunes and woodland.
