An attractive property just off Swanage high street and within 0.5 miles of the town’s sandy beach, one of the most popular in the Dorset AONB. The property features a cosy lounge, a spacious dining room and an enclosed garden. It is perfect for a family getaway and enjoys easy access to the Jurassic Coast’s historic and natural attractions.

Set on a terraced street, this three-storey property is surrounded by others of a similar character. Its interior rooms are large, bright and contemporary in style, with easy access between them and the outside spaces. The exceptionally comfortable lounge is an inviting place to unwind whatever the weather with a warming wood burner for cooler evenings. The dining room is set up for dinner parties with great company and outstanding food created in the nearby kitchen. When sleep beckons, the first floor is home to a characterful king-size bedroom and a bunk bedroom that is perfect for youngsters. A family bathroom stands nearby. The property’s third and final bedroom, a twin bedroom, sits under the eaves on the second floor and enjoys wonderful views of Nine Barrow Down. The property’s homely feel extends out into the garden, a place where children can play on the trampoline and adults can relax on the patio with al fresco refreshments.

The centre of Swanage (0.5 miles) offers an impressive array of shops, family-friendly pubs and seafood restaurants. Its Victorian pier is always a hit with visitors, while its beach offers space for sunbathing and water sports. Ballard Down (2 miles) and Durlston Country Park and National Nature Reserve (2.5 miles) are great places to reconnect with nature, while Lulworth Cove (17.5 miles) has to be seen to be believed.

A comfortable and warm house to stay in and a good base to visit other areas in Dorset. it was a short walk to the sea front and shops.

This is a lovely property, which is in good condition throughout and had plenty of space for us and our two children. Just 10 minutes walk to the beach, or even quicker to the steam railway.
