A bright and airy cottage within 1 mile of Swanage’s bustling town centre and popular sandy beach. The dog-friendly cottage features spacious living areas, two en-suite bedrooms and an enclosed garden. It is perfect for families looking for a relaxing holiday on the Jurassic Coast, with easy access to attractions including Townsend Nature Reserve and Swanage Steam Railway.

The two-storey cottage stands on a narrow road within a residential area. Its interior is neatly proportioned, with homely, naturally lit rooms with practical and stylish soft furnishings. The lounge at the front of the cottage is a comfortable space for family time throughout the day, while the dining room and stylish kitchen, which sit in the middle and rear of the cottage, are only a few steps apart. The family bathroom is handily placed on the ground floor, while upstairs, the en-suite double bedroom and the en-suite twin bedroom opposite are big on space and cosiness. When the weather is fine, al fresco meals and time with a good book or podcast are a must in the enclosed patio garden.

It’s a pleasant 1-mile walk from the cottage to Swanage’s bustling town centre, home to family- and dog-friendly eateries serving the day’s catch. Parts of the town’s beach welcome dogs all year round, while the sea beyond, just like the Jurassic Coast in general, is a fantastic base for water sports lovers. Enjoy nostalgic train rides on the Swanage Steam Railway (0.5 miles), where dogs are welcome to hop aboard with their humans. Ballard Down, Townsend Nature Reserve and Durlston Country Park and National Nature Reserve (all within 2.5 miles) are wonderful for long dog walks.
