It is a convenient base for active families or groups of friends seeking a relaxing holiday on the Jurassic Coast.

The single-storey property sits within a residential area whose main roads wind down towards the coast. Its interior is bright, welcoming and littered with contemporary soft furnishings. There is plenty of room for everyone to unwind in the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, with access to the enclosed garden via French doors to the rear. The property’s two king-size bedrooms promise a restful night’s sleep, with one also featuring an additional single bed, perfect for younger guests. A family shower room stands nearby. The south-facing enclosed garden is fabulous, with space on its lawn area for children’s games while the adults prepare al fresco meals on the decked area.

Swanage’s vibrant town centre, beach and promenade (0.5 miles) have been popular with generations of visitors looking for good food, water sports and relaxing strolls. The Jurassic Coast is blessed with countless natural wonders including Dancing Ledge, Studland Bay and Durlston Country Park and National Nature Reserve (all within 5 miles). A day trip to Corfe Castle (6 miles) can be combined with a trip on the Swanage Steam Railway, which has a terminus in the town centre.

Excellent. Great location - quiet but walking distance to town centre (though note the paths and roads are steep if you're less steady on your feet). Bungalow was clean and really well stocked. Lovely, well kept garden. Friendly and helpful hosts.

Very convenient lodge on the hillside of Swanage. Clean and groomed rooms and a fully equipped kitchen. Nice garden and a good parking spot. Nearby Durlston Castle and Park with a beautiful sea view. We'll never want to go away, but the holidays has ended. Highly recommended.

Puffin Lodge is a fantastic property in Swanage,a great base to visit the attractions all over Dorset! The lodge is lovely inside, clean,bright,cosy and modern and equipped with everything we needed,a real home from home. I would highly recommend this property ,it was a bonus the driveway was big too so no worries of where to park! CommunicatiRead moreon from the owners while we were away was appreciated too,so if we had any problems we knew they were just a text away! (We didn't though!) Our family had a great time at Puffin Lodge which is located in a very quiet area and well sunny. Everything is very clean and well equipped. There were also various maps available to explore the area. The beds were very comfortable. We also appreciated the welcome gift and the good communication.

Puffin Lodge is a modern, very well furnished single storey holiday property. It is furnished and equipped to a very high standard. Wonderful shower. Everything was extremely clean Suntrap patio with table and chairs. Overall very comfortable, but you would have to quite fit to tackle that hill to the Town on foot.

Puffin Lodge is beautifully renovated and a lovely relaxing space to spend a holiday. It was so clean, light and warm. We have two small children and being a bungalow and having an enclosed garden and lots of easy parking made it perfect for our family. The attention to detail makes this stand out as a holiday let and the owners have thought of everything you could possibly want while away. In a quiet location, yet only a short (albeit steep) walk into Swanage it is also a great base for exploring this beautiful part of the world and as walkers easy access to the coastal and many other public footRead morepaths made it perfect for us. Excellent property. Nice position in a quite road. Well-equipped modern property with everything that you could need. One thing that I found very helpful was instructions for all the appliances all clearly labelled in a file. This was a clean, modern and well equipped property with plenty of outdoor space. A short 10-minute walk into town, slightly longer coming back due to being steeply uphill! A very comfortable base from which to explore the beautiful Dorset coast and surrounding areas.

The property is beautifully equipped, with real attention to detail, which was fabulous. Would be beneficial to know that it is up such a steep series of hills from the beach as the description and photos lead one to believe its much closer and flatter! This isnt a criticism at all, just a helpful note!

Located a short walk away form Dulston castle with view ( from the front garden ) of the beach. Found this property to have fantastic light and was given to us spotless. Recommended.
