Situated in a pretty spot close to the heart of the seaside town of Swanage, this light and appealing cottage makes a cosy and friendly holiday home for up to six guests. Perfect for couples and families exploring the beautiful Isle of Purbeck, this cosy and welcoming detached property is ideal for keen walkers, cyclists and nature lovers. Within easy reach of nature reserves, beaches and countryside, the cottage provides a fantastic backdrop for anyone wanting to experience a superb stretch of the Dorset coast.

The house is set at the top of an incline from the driveway, and features a welcoming hallway leading through to a spacious, relaxing lounge/diner. Featuring plenty of seating, a warming wood burner and Smart TV, this is a great space to unwind in at the end of a fabulous day. The stylish kitchen is a pleasure to cook in. An additional snug has a Smart TV, sofa and plenty of space to play games. The first floor has three bright bedrooms: a super-king-size room with Smart TV, a twin with Smart TV, and a bunk bedroom. The charming, landscaped garden features a patio with outdoor furniture and a second seating area with a fire pit. There’s also an unenclosed lawn to the side of the house.

Swanage is a bustling seaside town with numerous great places to eat and drink, and is known for its long sandy beach, traditional promenade and Victorian pier. Attractions and landmarks close by include Durlston Bay, Peveril Point, the Prince Albert Gardens, Anvil Point, Durlston Country Park, Ballard Down and Dancing Ledge (all within 3 miles). Also nearby are Chapman’s Pool (5.5 miles), The Blue Pool (8 miles) and Hartland Moor National Nature Reserve (7.5 miles) or you can head inland to the historic village of Corfe Castle (5.5 miles).

A comfortable house set within a quiet estate with a superb view. It is well situated to explore the Swanage and surrounding areas.

Very comfortable house in a quiet location with great views of Ballard Down. Garden very well kept and enclosed, plenty of parking available. All furnishings good quality and beds comfortable. Nearby copse and park were really convenient for morning and evening dog walks. Would be happy to return the next time we come to Dorset.

Lovely quiet cottage in a residencial area, easy walk to the sea side, pubs and restaurantes ( 15/20 minutes to everywhere) easy access to transport if you want to go around and do not drive .

Fabulous house with stunning views. Please provide a sun canopy for garden table. Fire pit needed to be checked. Beds very comfortable. The location was very peaceful and a short walk to the beach. Heating settings in house were some times a little off, Cold first thing in the morning and hot at night.

A great house in the perfect location to walk into Swanage and visit other beaches in the area. The house had everything we needed, very comfy super king size bed and the garden is lovely and very well kept. Weather was good so we did get to enjoy sitting in the garden. We thoroughly enjoyed our week and would stay again.

A very pleasant and comfortable cottage with a delightful garden area which is a sun trap. Situated on a quiet estate with lovely views of the hills from the living room. Good for beach and many nearby walks.

Lovely place to stay. Very restful. First time in Swanage and hope to be back. Lots to see and do helped by the fabulous weather which was somewhat unexpected. Bit of a trek up from the town but worth it for us.

A lovely comfortable holiday home with good outdoor space for children and dogs. High quality beds, bed linen and towels. The walk back from the town or beach is quite steep but all in all we would certainly visit this property again.

We had a lovely stay, the property has everything you need, is very spacious, has comfortable beds and nice soft towels. A welcome basket was waiting for us with a few treats which was nice touch. The garden is lovely, enclosed and has two seating areas to catch the sun. If you want to explore in and around Swanage this is a great base as lots to dRead moreo within an hours drive or less.
