When it comes to serving a meal, take your pick from the dining table in the kitchen, or in the separate dining room which has quirky touches including a rustic table and a large feature fireplace. Located in the lovely village of South Perrott surrounded by gorgeous countryside, there are walking trails from the doorstep and a shop and pub within 2 miles. For a wider array of eateries, head to Beaminster (3.5 miles) which has a great selection of bistros and pubs. Days out on the coast are also within easy reach, with Lyme Regis and Charmouth (within 14 miles) offering the opportunity to hunt for historic fossils, and also West Bay with its sandy golden stretch which was a filming location for Broadchurch.
