We enjoyed our week at Bramble lodge. The instructions for locating the property were clear and easy to understand, unlike some places,we have tried to find A lovely peaceful location surrounded by trees and we could hear the gurgling stream.. The cottage was well equipped and the bed very comfortable. I was impressed with the Customer helpline. We Read moreboth searched several times to locate the iron,to no avail. I rang the line, and explained. A new iron was delivered the next day. Much appreciated. Hide

Lovely cottage in a pretty setting, quiet at night. No pub or shop in village, but we found fantastic ones a few miles away (New Inn, Fox Inn, Winyards Gap) if you dont mind narrow country lanes. Cottage has most things needed and is clean, warm and cosy. Internet a bit hit and miss. Overall an enjoyable holiday.

We were very disappointed as the cottage was dirty with dust and cobweb everywhere., especially in bedroom. It needed a good deep clean. The bedding was damp and when we took off covers to dry them there was a bright red blood stain on one pillow and some older stains on duvet. (We went and purchased our own) . The positive was the kitchen area wasRead more cleaner and well stocked with equipment. The owner had left milk and tea etc for our arrival. The location was good for getting around the area . Response from holidaycottages.co.uk. We can confirm all feedback has been addressed and resolved with a new cleaner in place. Hide

Set in a very peaceful location. The accomodation is quite dark during the day and in need of a refresh. The local pub is just over a mile away through a nice village and is well worth a visit. Beaminster has all the essential shops a short drive away.

Quiet location, comfortable cottage, close enough to a road to ensure you can get to places but not so close that you can hear it. Hardly saw another human being all week which was a big tick for us.

Nice cottage with all the facilities we needed. Only drawback is that it is down a very narrow road with passing places, but it heavily used by cars and delivery vans.
