Property code: OC-H33032

Experience the unique landscape of the Isle of Purbeck and the vibrancy of Swanage from the comfort of this stylish cottage. Sleeping four guests, the two-bedroom abode is just 500 metres from the sandy beach and well located for shops and eateries. Venture out of town to magnificent beauty spots and historic sites before returning to relax in your private garden.

Enter your Dorset cottage via the hall, before making your way into the heart of the home, an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, where you can enjoy downtime between exciting excursions. Spread out on the comfortable seating in here to watch TV. Take turns at whipping up dishes over in the smart kitchen then enjoy long, leisurely meals together at the table. Open the doors to the garden on warm days. Your bedroom and bathroom accommodation is all on the ground floor as well. This includes an inviting king-size bedroom, a sumptuous super-king-size, with zip-and-link beds that can be made into a twin if discussed in advance, and the family shower room. Make your way carefully up the narrow staircase to the mezzanine level, where there is a lovely snug, with a Smart TV that children or teenagers will enjoy, plus a family bathroom. There is some limited head height here due to the attractive, sloping ceilings. Step out into the garden on sunny spring and summer days. Light the BBQ and savour the sea air as it heats, ready to sizzle your fresh Dorset produce on. There is off-road parking for one large or two small cars.

Take a heritage steam train from the station in Swanage out to historic Corfe Castle, 5 miles away. Venture 3 miles to picturesque Studland to spend time on the long, sandy, dune-backed beach. Plan a day out to magical Lulworth Cove, 17 miles away.

• 2 bedrooms – 1 king-size and 1 twin room

Very well refurbished cottage. Everything looked brand new when we arrived. So comfortable and well equipped. We enjoyed the different walks into town, to the beach or through the allotments with our dogs.

Heathers is such a beautifully created holiday home. We loved the addition of the space upstairs our boys spent lots of time chilling in there. The house has everything you need and is in close proximity to a huge green space for the dogs and kids with a fab play park. (2 min walk). It is a level walk to town and the beach (approx 10mins). Off roadRead more parking is a bonus and although close to a main road it is so quiet. We will definitely be back! Hide

Lovely property, really well equipped. We had a lovely stay. Our first stay in Swanage. Property is just a short stroll to beach, shops etc very convenient. Swanage is very dog friendly and we enjoyed cafes, shops and beach with our dog. We hope to stay again sometime.

Excellent holiday home. The quality of the property fit out and facilities are first class. This combined with its quiet location but still near to the town centre/sea front make this a property we would not hesitate to return to.

We, 3 adults and 2 dogs had a wonderful stay at Heathers. The house is beautiful, spotlessly clean and equipped with everything you need for a wonderful stay. Dog walks in Studland are amazing, lots of pubs & restaurants to easily walk to, the host was easy to contact and always on hand if you needed help. We cant wait to return.

Nice new build with excellent facilities. Impeccable attention to detail. Our puppy had his first time at the seaside, so great being so close to the beach. Which was open to dogs in the winter months.
