Lay a fire in the wood burner during the colder months then gather round the wooden table or on the soft seating to savour its cosy glow. Play family games, watch the Smart TV and find everything you need to rustle up tasty meals over in the well-equipped kitchen space. Carefully climb the winding cottage-style stairs up to your bedrooms on the first floor. One of these is a calming space with a king-size bed, while the other has bunk beds and a single bed. Only the lower bunk and the single are usually prepared but you may request the top bunk at booking for an additional child if needed. The gorgeous family bathroom is also at this level. Step out into the split-level back garden via the stable door, taking a few steps up to the patio to dine in the sunshine. Please note, there is a steep drop from the patio. There is also a bench on the lawn in the front garden, where you can steal a few quiet moments to yourself. Parking is along an unmade road, 200 metres away, subject to availability.
