This charming two-bed bungalow in Southbourne is perfectly placed for a relaxing break with family or friends. It’s located in a quiet part of town, with everything you need within 0.5 miles – head to Tuckton High Street for all the essentials; from a supermarket and butchers to takeaways, pubs, restaurants, and coffee shops. For a livelier atmosphere, take the Wick ferry (300 metres) over the River Stour to lively Christchurch (1 mile).

On arrival, step into the spacious porch and through to a stylish kitchen that’s all set for cooking up holiday feasts. The conservatory is bright and airy with garden views – perfect for tucking into meals – while the cosy lounge invites you to curl up in front of the Smart TV after a day outdoors. There are two bedrooms – a king-size and a twin – along with a family shower room. In good weather, relax in the fully enclosed garden where children and the dog can let off steam on the good-sized lawn. The patio makes an ideal setting for fresh-air dinners or evening drinks. You’ll also have a delightful summerhouse with comfy seating, games, and its own TV, providing an additional area for relaxation. There is also private parking for two cars.

Wander down to the sandy shoreline of Southbourne Beach (1 mile) for paddling and sun-soaking or lace up your walking shoes and follow scenic routes like the Hengistbury Head Circular (1.5 miles) or the nearby coastal path. If you fancy swapping the seaside for woodland, the magnificent New Forest National Park (6 miles) is brimming with ancient trees, wildlife, and mile upon mile of peaceful trails.
