In the village itself, you’ll find a friendly, family‑run pub with a pretty garden, along with the quirky and loved by locals restaurant Rachel’s, ideal for unwinding over a relaxed meal after a day of exploring.
The coastline is always close, with dramatic cliffs, scenic coastal paths and some of Dorset’s most popular beaches within easy reach. The vibrant towns of Bridport (6 miles) and Dorchester (9 miles) offer plenty of places to eat, shop and discover, while Abbotsbury’s subtropical gardens and swannery, the iconic Cerne Abbas giant and the charming seaside town of Lyme Regis provide even more to enjoy throughout your stay.

Upon entering the property, you’re welcomed by the open-plan living space encompassing the kitchen, living room and dining area. Here, you’ll find a leather sofa, a Smart TV and a flame effect electric fire, great for lazy evenings, as well as a dining table seating up to four. The kitchen is compact but well equipped with everything you’ll need to make breakfasts, lunches and dinners during a stay. From the living space, a door leads through to the twin bedroom which has a lovely skylight window, perfect for watching the stars on a clear night, and an en-suite shower room. Down a set of stairs outside the property is an enclosed garden which has a selection of pretty plants and a table and chairs where you can make the most of sunny evenings and watch the sunset.

Located in the village of Litton Cheney, this apartment is a great base from which to explore the walking trails and historic past of Dorset. Just 0.5 miles away is the Bride Valley Vineyard which produces award-winning English wines and offers tours and tastings for visitors. Dorchester (9 miles) has an array of eateries and shops to peruse, plus five fascinating museums including the Dinosaur Museum and the Teddy Bear Museum. Alternatively, head out fossil hunting on a day trip to Lyme Regis (17 miles) where you can learn all about the interesting artefacts hidden across the beaches.

We really enjoyed our stay , really well equipped , enclosed garden was lovely our dog Betty loved it !! location was great with the local pub just a short walk away. Cannot fault it.

We had a lovely stay. Two of us and our dog, Eddie. Perfect location. Garden area was great for the dog. Apartment was very well equipped, very comfortable, very peaceful. A lovely village setting, local pub was very welcoming. Torch needed for walking home, unless the Wolf Moon is out... Perfect location for visiting other areas. Would love Read moreto return. A lovely comfortable apartment with everything that is required to make your stay everything you want it to be. Set in a beautiful quiet village with a lovely friendly pub in walking distance Off road parking and very nice owners .We enjoyed our stay so much we are thinking of returning next year.Highly recommended.

Great little place in quiet surroundings. Ideally situated to explore the surrounding area. Clean, comfortable and well equipped. Made welcome by the owners who were ready with suggestions of things to do if I didnt know the area. Lovely private garden. Would thoroughly recommend it and hope to return one day.

Everything you need is available and the added bonus is the beautiful garden. Top tip drive through the gates and don't park outside owners property.

We had a lovely holiday, but did find parking a problem, as it was very tight to reverse out of the parking area, and also we found the setee uncomfortable, it was very slippery and a bit hard. But on the whole we had a lovely time.

A lovely clean and well equipped apartment, like home from home. Nice garden for the dog and to sit in when the weather is kind. Great location for touring the south coast in both directions. Kathy and Steve were wonderful hosts.
