Inside, the open-plan living area brings together a fully fitted kitchen and a comfortable sitting room. Furnishings include a sofa, armchair, dining table with chairs and a Smart TV for quiet evenings after a day exploring Dorset’s countryside. The bedroom offers a king-size bed, while the contemporary shower room includes a walk-in shower and WC. For groups, the cottage can also be reserved alongside a neighbouring cottage. An interconnecting door can be opened when required (locked when not in use). Outside, the patio is a lovely place for a morning coffee or a sunset drink. Guests are also welcome to wander around the farm grounds, where friendly animals, including donkeys, ducks and goats can often be spotted. At certain times of year, special encounters with alpacas or Shetland ponies may also be arranged (additional fees may apply). The on-site riding centre offers a memorable way to discover the countryside. For further outdoor fun, guests can use the tennis court, try traditional lawn games, or follow footpaths directly from the farm. As night falls, a dedicated stargazing area provides uninterrupted views of the night sky. The market towns of Blandford Forum (8 miles) and Dorchester (14 miles) boast independent shops, cafes and historic landmarks, while the remarkable Jurassic Coast lies 17 miles away. This UNESCO World Heritage coastline is celebrated for its dramatic cliffs, unusual rock formations and sweeping beaches, making it a fantastic destination for coastal walks.
