Accommodation was perfect for our needs (couple plus one dog). Well equipped, comfortable, good sized bed (which is rare), thoughtfully laid out, and a really good shower. Rare to get a washer/dryer in the kitchen plus a dishwasher but this had it all. Location was perfect, not far from a local villages, down a long drive in a beautiful rural settiRead moreng, paddock/ meadow for the dog, good area to park the car, and plenty of local walks via Ordinance Survey routes. Beautiful setting, lovely property. Our dog Roxy had a visit from Lord Albert the resident Labrador which was lovely. We were at ease with Roxy roaming around the field, she loved running about. We wanted a break away from it all, and that is exactly what we got. Beautiful surroundings in one of a group of four cottages. Tastefully decorated, the history of the buildings was fascinating, the effort taken in their restoration is evident everywhere. We will definitely be returning, hopefully before too long
