As guests are not allowed in before 5.00pm it would have been good to find a welcome pack of a few essentials waiting. We understood why.hairdryers were not available but could have taken our own if we had known.

The cottage is in a great location and has a very friendly vibe. It is spacious, in our case there were 7 of us, and is very nicely furnished. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is very well equipped but could do with a salad spinner. The views from the bedrooms were a treat as they look out on to the beach and sea. Bathrooms could do with an upRead moredate. We found The Anchor Inn disappointing. The pizzas served outside at the pub tables were very good though and came with a view of the sea. Hide

The cottage has a superb location and listening to the waves provides a peaceful, relaxing setting. Seatownbeach is also fascinating as its pebbles and rocks take on different arrangements everyday and fossil hunting is fun for all ages! An added bonus was the winter menu at the Anchor practically next door.
