It’s ideal for beach trips, playing golf, walking, and cycling, and exploring local towns and attractions, and has a stylish open-plan living space, a king-size bedroom and a shower room, and a secure outside space designed for your furry friends to enjoy.

The apartment has stylish decor and furnishings along with creature comforts. Go in through via its own entrance, where there’s space to store bikes, and step into the lounge/kitchen/diner, with space to curl up on the comfy sofa and armchair and watch TV (with a Firestick so you watch digital channels). The kitchen/diner area is at the other end, with good cupboard space for your supplies, and everything you need to cook tasty meals. There’s also a coffee pod machine for your morning cuppa and a dining table and chairs for four. At bedtime, go through to the plush super-king-size bedroom, with a shower room next door.

The colourful seaside town of Weymouth (27 miles) is worth visiting to explore its gorgeous sandy beaches and pretty harbour. For an exciting outing, visit Gorcombe Farm (4.5 miles) where you can try paintballing, archery, fishing, and off-road driving. The National Trust’s White Mill, 3.5 miles away, is a charming old mill in a pretty riverside spot.

This is a comfortable, clean and well appointed first floor unit which we could not fault. It forms part of a well designed residential complex surrounded by fields in a rural location with good accessibility to neighbouring villages and attractions. A really good find.
