As this property is pet friendly it should be mentioned that the property is close to a military site with noise that could frighten and upset the dogs

We would recommend a stay at Carters Barn. It is in a lovely location for this area of Dorset with lots of things to do & visit nearby. The barn has plenty of space in a well thought out, well maintained cottage for 4/6 people to enjoy in comfort.

Really lovely, comfortable cottage. We were there with my son and his family so 4 adults, a teenager and a dog and there was plenty of room. Lots of books and games available as well as TVs and Alexa! Good location for visiting Dorset. We had a couple of nice meals at The Ship in Wool. Dog friendly and good sized portions.
