A cosy hut surrounded by private woodland within 3 miles of Lyme Regis and Charmouth, two of the most popular destinations on the Jurassic Coast. Ideal for couples seeking a romantic break in the countryside, this dog-friendly hut features an open-plan living space, a private gravel terrace and easy access to a range of attractions on the Dorset/ Devon border.

Located at the end of a long, unmade drive, the hut nestles in a secluded area surrounded by an abundance of trees, wildlife and wildflowers, with captivating views of undulating wooded countryside beyond. Climb wooden steps into the fresh and deceptively spacious open-plan living area, complete with plush soft furnishings arranged across solid wooden flooring. The living area is split between a comfortable kitchen/diner on one side and a double bed on the other, with a large door in the centre allowing natural light to pour in throughout the day. A compact shower room stands beyond the kitchen/diner, perfect for recharging after a long day exploring the area. The private gravel terrace at the front of the hut is ideal for soaking up the astonishing views over a morning coffee or stargazing with refreshments after an alfresco supper.

Take plenty of time to explore the idyllic countryside surrounding the hut on foot, absorbing woodlands, streams and wildlife along the way. Lyme Regis (3 miles) is often referred to as The Pearl of Dorset, and a stroll around its winding streets will uncover many a dog-friendly pub or cafe. Stretches of coastline in and around this charming seaside town welcome dogs, allowing everyone the chance to dip their paws during the holiday. The village of Charmouth (3 miles) showcases the truly astonishing beauty of the Jurassic Coast, while its shops are laden with local produce.

A lovely stay, the perfect retreat from everyday stresses. The hut came fully equipped with everything I needed. I loved the outdoor fire pit and the peaceful sounds of nature around. The shower was brilliant, a little of the small side but nice and hot which was needed in March. The bed was super comfy and toasty warm. Would definitely recommend!

Lovely little hut, big enough for two adults and a small collie. The counter space is limited but easily workable with the use of the table. I would love to return and stay again for a longer period :)

Lovely and comfortable place to stay. Very quiet and great views. Close to the coast and local places to visit. Be wary of the local roads as very narrow, hilly and windy!

What a beautiful experience. It truly is like paradise found. A lovely quiet setting at the edge of a path in the woods. We had a couple of sheep visit us. I would love to live in a similar setting in a shepherds hut. We were very comfortable. Our dog slept under the hut and loved it
